Brandon’s career in Marketing started in 1996 with the opening of a new entertainment venue in Midtown Atlanta. He worked tirelessly to establish the venue as a mainstay in the Atlanta nightlife scene, and helped lay the foundation for a bourgeoning dance music community that went on to be recognized internationally.
While working as a marketer and DJ in Atlanta, he honed his promotional skills, which led him to KBA Marketing, where he worked as a Market Manager for the flagship New York office. His experience working on Fortune 500 clients in NYC prepared him for his eventual move back to Atlanta to partner in a new Marketing agency, Trend Influence. TI would provide fertile ground for his knack for consumer marketing and his passion for youth culture.
As VP of Client Service, Brandon worked on multiple high-profile accounts, and helped to expand the agency throughout the interactive and strategic arena, including the creation and launch of a lifestyle web property, UMIX.net. He went on to develop UMIX and expand the reach of the agency by opening offices in NYC, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
In 2004, Brandon left the agency and began a consulting career that allowed him to once again use his skills and insight to create and guide brands who target the 18-34 year old demographic. His experience with strategy coupled with his practical knowledge and attention to detail have allowed his talent to shine and his work to be praised by his clients.
In late 2005, Brandon was approached to re-launch UMIX.net, which had been recently purchased by a local Atlanta agency. His work on the repositioning and re-launch of the property enabled him to exercise his insight into consumer behavior and interactive marketing, and continued his growth as a marketer.
In 2007 Brandon joined with long time associate Harry Hallman to form Octane Interactive.
